In June, our Grade 11 students held their Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Exhibition. TOK, a unique study of epistemology in the Diploma Program (Grade 11 & 12), opens up a wide window of reflection on the nature of the knowledge you have constructed as a knower and the process of knowing.
At the exhibition, the students presented their three objects based on one of the 35 "IA prompts" provided in the TOK guide, e.g. "On what grounds might we doubt a claim?". This work accounts for approximately one third of their total grade in the TOK course. The aim is to enable students to explore how TOK manifests the world around us.
