The best way to get to know Dresden International School is to come to visit us in person. We welcome interested families for visits all year round. Several times a year, we hold Open Houses in Preschool, Primary and Secondary School. These are good opportunities to get to know us better.

Primary and Secondary School
Every school year, early February, we hold an Open House for prospective families so you may have a first-hand look at our school, learn more about the program, and gain a better sense of whether your child might be a good fit at DIS. We also organize online information events about our different school sections in March.
The next opportunity to learn about our unique curriculum and how we learn and teach takes place in Fall 2025. Find out how we support and care for our students in grades 1-12 to ensure that they learn, grow, and discover their fullest potential. The next on-site open house will take place early February 2026.

Children Ages 1-5
Open to all families who are interested in enrolling their child in the DIS Preschool programme. The Open House events, whether online or on-site, will give you an opportunity to get an in-depth view of DIS Preschool and Kindergarten. Our leadership team is excited to share what makes DIS an outstanding preschool, a vibrant and welcoming community. We will have time for your questions.
In school year 2024-25 we look forward to welcoming you to our next online event as well as our on-site open house at our Preschool campus at Goetheallee 18 (Dresden-Blasewitz).
